The Best 100 Tracks of the 90s

Pitchfork recently ran a week long ‘Best songs of the 90s‘ feature which has received a lot of attention. I love Pitchfork and their list had quite a few of my favourite tracks on it. However I was quite suprised at how many really great tracks were missing from their list (which you can see below). So I kissed my evenings goodbye for a week and came up with my own version (which you can listen to in it’s entirety on 8tracks, right here).

I’ve followed the rule of only being to include one track per Artist.

What classics did I miss? What’s on my list that you hate?

Kudos for the Madonna track…P4K too worried about their hipster credentials to put it in I reckon. One major gripe…Cant Be Sure is a MUCH better Sundays track than your pick!
